VKH- the great masquerade

A 64 year old lady was under treatment with a neurologist for persistent headache with pain and blurred vision in her right eye. ESR and CRP elevated and hence patient was started on IVMP for suspicion of giant cell arteritis. MRI brain with orbits screening revealed suprachoroidal hemorrhage with choroidal detachment. She was referred for ophthalmic evaluation, and found to have multiple choroidal detachments in her right eye, and following evaluation, VKH syndrome was diagnosed and treatment was started accordingly. This case is presented for the overlap of symptoms, which led to difficulty in diagnoses and which should be kept in mind as a differential diagnosis.
